Early birdshot lesions (a) demonstrate early hypofluorescence with subtle late staining. In the later stages of the angiogram (b), leakage at the optic nerve is typically seen as a segmental periphlebitis. Cystoid macular edema and choroidal neovascularization may also be evident.
